Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Puff Pastry:
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
- Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to create as many hearts as possible.
- Transfer the hearts to the prepared tray and brush the tops lightly with the beaten egg.
- Bake the Pastry Hearts:

- Assemble the Hearts:
- Slice each heart in half horizontally using a serrated knife.

- Place the top half of the heart back on to form a sandwich.
- Garnish:
- Lightly dust the assembled hearts with powdered sugar.
- Drizzle chocolate sauce over the top for a finishing touch.
- Serve:
- Serve immediately for the freshest and flakiest texture.
