- Cooking spray or butter, for greasing
Instructions
- Prep Your Slow Cooker: Grease the inside of your slow cooker generously with cooking spray or butter to prevent sticking.
- Prepare Potatoes: Wash and peel potatoes (if preferred), then slice them thinly and evenly for consistent cooking.
- Season the Potatoes: In a large bowl, toss the potato slices with melted butter. Add the Lipton Onion Soup mix and mix thoroughly. For extra indulgence, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Layer & Add Liquid: Layer the seasoned potatoes into the slow cooker. Pour chicken broth or water evenly over the top to help steam and flavor the dish.

- High setting: 2–3 hours Adjust the cooking time depending on your slow cooker and the thickness of your potato slices.
