Ingredients

- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups milk
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Pillsbury Grands Frozen Biscuits (not canned)
Instructions
- Brown the sausage in a large pan on medium heat. Do not drain the grease.
- Mix in the 1/4 cup flour, stirring until the flour is fully absorbed and you can no longer see any white flour.
- Add 2 cups of milk, stirring constantly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Continue cooking on medium heat until the mixture starts to bubble.
- Reduce heat to low, and let the gravy thicken.
- Remove from heat and serve over hot, baked Pillsbury Grands Frozen Biscuits.
Notes
- Make sure not to use canned biscuits—Pillsbury Grands Frozen Biscuits are the best choice for this recipe.
- For a thicker gravy, cook a little longer. For a thinner gravy, add more milk.
