Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground meat (beef, turkey, or chicken)
12 small potatoes, diced (adjust to your preference)
1 can cream soup (mushroom, chicken, or celery work great)
3/4 cup milk (or substitute with water and sour cream mixed together)
Seasonings of your choice (salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, etc.)
1/2 to 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite)
Instructions
Brown the Meat: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground meat, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks. Drain any excess fat if needed.
Add Potatoes: Stir in the diced potatoes with the browned meat. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are tender (about 15–20 minutes).
Add Soup and Milk: Once the potatoes are tender, reduce the heat to low. Stir in the can of cream soup and milk (or the sour cream and water mixture). Mix well.
Season to Taste: Add your preferred seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, etc.) and stir to combine.
Sprinkle with Cheese: Top the mixture with shredded cheese, cover with a lid, and let it cook for a few minutes until the cheese is melted.
Serve: Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
You can experiment with different soups (such as cream of celery or cream of chicken) for variety.
Frozen veggies can be added for a more balanced meal.
Feel free to use any ground meat (beef, turkey, chicken) or adjust seasoning to your liking.
