  1. 1/2 cup chopped strawberries
  2. 1 cup heavy whipping cream (cold)
  3. 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  4. Red gel icing color (optional, for a more vibrant pink)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Strawberries:
    • Using a food processor or blender, puree the chopped strawberries until smooth.
    • Strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds if desired.
  • Whip the Cream:
    • In a chilled mixing bowl, beat cold heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar on medium-high speed until soft peaks form.
  • Incorporate the Strawberries:
    • Gently fold the strawberry puree into the whipped cream.
    • If you want a deeper pink color, add a small drop of red gel icing color and mix until incorporated.
  • Finish & Serve:
    • Continue whipping until stiff peaks form, being careful not to overwhip.
    • Use immediately as a topping for desserts or store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, straining the strawberry puree is optional but recommended.
  • Add more powdered sugar if you prefer a sweeter whipped cream.
