- 1 cup heavy whipping cream (cold)
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- Red gel icing color (optional, for a more vibrant pink)
Instructions
- Prepare the Strawberries:
- Using a food processor or blender, puree the chopped strawberries until smooth.
- Strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds if desired.
- Whip the Cream:
- In a chilled mixing bowl, beat cold heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar on medium-high speed until soft peaks form.
- Incorporate the Strawberries:
- Gently fold the strawberry puree into the whipped cream.
- If you want a deeper pink color, add a small drop of red gel icing color and mix until incorporated.
- Finish & Serve:
- Continue whipping until stiff peaks form, being careful not to overwhip.
- Use immediately as a topping for desserts or store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
Notes
- For a smoother texture, straining the strawberry puree is optional but recommended.
