			- 2-3 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
 - 2 packets chicken gravy mix
 - 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
 - 1 ½ cups water
 - ½ cup sour cream
 - Black pepper and garlic powder, to taste
 - Mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta, for serving
 
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with black pepper and garlic powder.
 - In the crockpot, whisk together the water, cream of chicken soup, and chicken gravy mix.
 - Add the chicken to the crockpot and coat it with the gravy mixture.
 - Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours until the chicken is tender and shreds easily.
 - Shred the chicken using two forks, then stir in the sour cream.
 - Let it warm for 15 minutes before serving.
 
- Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta and enjoy.
 
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use chicken broth instead of water.
 - This recipe can also be made with bone-in chicken, though cooking time may need to be adjusted.
 - If you want a thicker gravy, you can reduce the amount of water or add a little cornstarch slurry.
