Description

This Whipped Spicy Cottage Cheese Dip takes just 5 minutes and 5 ingredients to create a creamy, savory, high-protein snack that’s perfect for dipping. Packed with tangy pickled jalapeños, sun-dried tomatoes, and fresh scallions, it’s a bold and flavorful party dip — even for cottage cheese skeptics! Serve it with tortilla chips, veggies, or pita for a crowd-pleasing appetizer


Ingredients

Scale

2 scallions (spring onions), chopped
Handful of garlic chives
1.5 cups (300g) cottage cheese
1/4 cup pickled jalapeños
1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil (or chili oil or ginger scallion oil for extra flavor)


Instructions

  • Set aside one scallion and half the garlic chives, finely chopped, for garnish.

  • In a food processor or blender, combine cottage cheese, pickled jalapeños, sun-dried tomatoes, salt, and the remaining scallions and garlic chives. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.

  • Taste and adjust salt if needed.

  • Transfer to a bowl or plate. Smooth the surface and make a shallow well in the center.

  • Drizzle with olive oil (or flavored oil) and top with reserved herbs.

 

  • Serve with tortilla chips, pita chips, or veggies.


Notes

Make it spicier by adding a dash of hot sauce or crushed red pepper. Keeps well refrigerated in an airtight container for 2–3 days. You can substitute garlic chives with regular chives or green onion tops.
