Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
4 oz cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Lemon Glaze:
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1–2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest


Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture onto the wider end of each triangle.
Roll up the dough triangles, starting from the wide end, and place them on the baking sheet, seam-side down.
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly.
For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth. Drizzle over the warm crescent rolls before serving.


Notes

  • Serve these rolls warm for the best texture and flavor.

  • Feel free to use orange zest in place of lemon for a different twist!
