Description

Zesty Lemon Butter Fish Fillet is a flavorful and light dish with seasoned white fish fillets cooked to perfection and served with a rich, tangy lemon butter sauce. A delightful balance of savory and citrusy flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 white fish fillets (cod, tilapia, or haddock)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Juice and zest of 2 lemons
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels. Rub both sides of the fillets with olive oil. Season evenly with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the fish fillets and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and flaky. Remove the fish from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Using the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and olive oil to the pan. Once the butter has melted, stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest, and parsley. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer gently for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Place the cooked fish fillets on a serving platter. Drizzle the warm lemon butter sauce over the fillets.
  6. Garnish with additional parsley and lemon slices for a vibrant finish.

Notes

  • You can use any white fish fillets like cod, tilapia, or haddock for this recipe.
  • For a richer flavor, you can add more butter or olive oil to the sauce.
  • If you prefer a little more spice, a pinch of red pepper flakes can be added to the sauce.
  • Garnish with extra lemon wedges and parsley for a more vibrant presentation.
