Description

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • ⅓ teaspoon salt
  • 1¼ cups cake flour
  • ¾ teaspoon active dry yeast
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ cup chopped green onion (green part only)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix milk, melted butter, and salt until well combined.
  2. In another bowl, mix cake flour, yeast, and baking soda.
  3. Pour wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until a lump forms.
  4. Add chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Knead briefly to incorporate.
  5. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  6. Place dough between two sheets of baking paper and roll into a thin rectangle.
  7. Trim the edges with a crinkle cutter and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  8. Poke each cracker with a fork to prevent puffing.
  9. Preheat oven to 338°F (170°C).
  10. Place crackers on a baking tray lined with parchment and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Cool completely before serving.
