These Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos are bursting with bold, spicy flavor from tender grilled shrimp coated in creamy sriracha-chili sauce. Layered with crunchy cabbage, fresh avocado, and a zing of lime, they make the ultimate quick and easy weeknight meal. Perfectly balanced and ready in 20 minutes!
Ingredients
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
8 corn tortillas
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
1 tsp sriracha
2 cups shredded cabbage
1 avocado, sliced
1 lime, cut into wedges
1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha.
Toss shrimp with half of the sauce until evenly coated.
Grill shrimp over medium-high heat for about 2 minutes per side, or until pink and cooked through.
Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
To assemble tacos, layer shredded cabbage, grilled shrimp, and avocado slices in each tortilla.
Drizzle with remaining sauce.
Garnish with fresh cilantro and a squeeze of lime juice before serving.
Notes
For extra crunch, try adding thinly sliced radishes or pickled onions. You can also substitute the shrimp for grilled chicken or tofu to switch things up. Want it spicier? Add extra sriracha to the sauce!
