- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 small head of cabbage, shredded
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup beef broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 3–4 minutes.
- Stir in the shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes (with their juice), cooked rice, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and beef broth. Cook for 5–7 minutes, until the cabbage begins to soften.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

- For extra flavor, you can add a dash of hot sauce or Worcestershire sauce to the beef mixture.
