Description

This Walking Taco Casserole is a flavorful and fun twist on traditional tacos. Packed with seasoned ground beef, creamy cheese, and topped with Fritos, this dish is sure to be a crowd-pleaser!


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 3 oz cream cheese
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 can green chilis
  • 23 cups Fritos corn chips
  • 1 cup shredded taco blend cheese
  • 1 Roma tomato, chopped
  • 12 cups shredded lettuce
  • Salsa and sour cream for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook ground beef and onion in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat until beef is browned and onions are softened.
  3. Add taco seasoning, green chilis, and cream cheese, and sauté until cream cheese is melted and combined.
  4. Top with corn chips and shredded cheese.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven, top with shredded lettuce and tomato, and garnish with salsa and sour cream.
