Instructions

- Add in 15-ounce can tomato sauce, 6-ounce can tomato paste, 1-2 tablespoons chili powder, 1 teaspoon ground cumin, 2 teaspoons salt, and ¾ cup water. Stir until well combined.
- Turn heat to medium-low and allow the mixture to simmer for at least 20 minutes.
- Place the 9.25-ounce bag of Fritos corn chips in a large bowl or on a plate.
- Top with the chili mixture. You can serve this as a single large serving or as individual servings.
- Add desired toppings: sour cream, grated cheddar cheese, diced red onion, and minced jalapeño peppers. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the level of chili powder to your taste for spiciness.
- You can use beef broth instead of water for a richer flavor.
- For a lighter version, try substituting lean ground turkey for the beef.
