Ingredients

Scale
  1. For the Crispy Chicken:

    • 2 cups buttermilk
    • 1 tbsp hot sauce
    • 2 cups flour
    • 1 tsp paprika
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp black pepper
    • Oil for frying

    For the Cheese Sauce:

    • 2 cups heavy cream
    • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
    • ½ cup diced red peppers
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • 1 tsp salt

    For the Chicken Sandwich:

    • 2 crispy chicken fillets
    • 1 toasted brioche bun
    • Lettuce, pickles, and onions
    • Drizzle of cheese sauce

    For the French Fries:

    1. 2 large potatoes (cut into fries)
    2. 1 tbsp cornstarch
    3. Salt & pepper to taste
    4. Oil for frying

Instructions

  • Marinate the Chicken: Marinate the chicken tenders in buttermilk and hot sauce for at least 30 minutes.
  • Coat and Fry the Chicken: Coat the marinated chicken in seasoned flour, then deep fry until golden brown and crispy.
  • Prepare the Cheese Sauce: Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan, then whisk in the shredded cheddar cheese, diced red peppers, garlic powder, and salt. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  • Assemble the Chicken Sandwich: Layer the crispy chicken, lettuce, pickles, and onions on a toasted brioche bun. Drizzle with a generous amount of cheese sauce.
  • Make the Fries: Fry the potato strips until crispy, then season with salt and pepper.

  • Serve everything hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can adjust the level of heat in the chicken marinade by adding more or less hot sauce.
  • For extra flavor, you can add some cayenne pepper to the flour coating.
  • If you want to make the fries even crispier, soak the cut potatoes in water for 30 minutes before frying and pat them dry before cooking.
