Ingredients
Scale
- 1½ lbs sausage kielbasa or smoked sausage, sliced ¼” thick
- 2 lbs baby creamer potatoes, washed, sliced in half
- 2 15 oz cans green beans, drained
- ⅛ cup vegetable oil
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 cup onions, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Slap Ya Mama® seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp pepper
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes
- ¼ cup water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and spray a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick spray.
- Wash the creamer potatoes, cut them in half, and add them to a sealable gallon-sized bag.
- Add oil, seasonings, pepper, and red pepper flakes to the bag and shake to coat the potatoes.
- In a large frying pan, add sausage and water. Cook over medium-high heat until sausage is browned and most of the water has evaporated. Remove sausage from pan and allow it to cool. Add the cooled sausage to the bag.
- Melt butter in the frying pan and add onions and garlic. Cook until onions are translucent. Let cool for a few minutes and then add to the bag with the sausage.
- Add the green beans to the bag, shake to mix, and then empty the contents into the prepared baking dish.
- Cover with foil and place in the oven. Bake for 40 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
- Carefully remove from oven, serve, and enjoy!
Notes
- For added flavor, you can substitute the vegetable oil with olive oil.
- If you like a crispier texture, uncover the casserole for the last 10 minutes of baking.
- Can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days before baking.
