1 can (28 oz) whole tomatoes or 3 cups fresh tomatoes
¼ cup vinegar
¼ cup honey, maple syrup, or brown sugar
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp sea salt
½ tsp paprika
Instructions
Blend the whole tomatoes until smooth.
Strain the blended tomatoes into a saucepan and add all the spices and seasonings.
Stir well and simmer over medium heat for about 8-10 minutes, until it thickens, stirring occasionally.
Let it cool completely.
