  1. 1 cup Butter, softened
  2. 1 cup Sugar
  3. 1 cup Brown Sugar, packed
  4. 2 Large Eggs
  5. 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  6. 3 cups All-purpose Flour
  7. 1 tsp Baking Soda
  8. 1 tsp Salt
  9. 2 cups Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, stirring just until combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  • Scoop large spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spaced a few inches apart.
  • Bake for 9-11 minutes or until the edges are golden brown, but the centers remain soft.

 

  • Let the cookies cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

  • You can use a mix of semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips for a different flavor profile!
  • Make sure to slightly underbake the cookies if you prefer them extra gooey in the center.

 

  • For an added twist, try adding a handful of chopped nuts or coconut flakes to the dough.
