  2. ½ cup milk (skim, 1%, 2%, or whole)
  3. 2 cups granulated sugar
  4. ½ cup unsweetened cocoa (Hershey’s Natural Unsweetened Cocoa)
  5. 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  6. ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  7. 3 cups Quick Oats (quick-cooking oatmeal) or Old-Fashioned Oats

Instructions

  • In a medium to large saucepan, combine the butter, milk, sugar, and cocoa over medium heat, stirring continuously.
  • Bring the mixture to a rapid boil. Once boiling, let it boil for 1 1/2 minutes while stirring. Remove from heat.
  • Add the vanilla extract and creamy peanut butter, stirring well until combined.
  • Stir in the oats until fully incorporated.
  • Drop large spoonfuls of the cookie mixture onto wax paper.
  • Allow the cookies to cool and set for 25 to 30 minutes at room temperature.
