- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
Instructions
- Heat the Skillet: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter with olive oil.
- Cook the Chicken: Add chicken pieces and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Sauté the Aromatics: In the same skillet, add the diced onion and cook until softened. Stir in garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
- Make the Sauce: Reduce heat to low and add smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Stir well.
- Add Liquids: Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring constantly. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Melt the Cheese: Stir in cheddar and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Combine & Serve: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and stir to coat. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and red pepper flakes if desired.
- Serve: Serve hot with mashed potatoes, rice, or crusty bread.
