Instructions
- In a bowl, toss the chicken pieces with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until evenly coated. Set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the seasoned chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and nearly cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, thyme, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Let the sauce simmer for 3–4 minutes, stirring until slightly thickened.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and simmer for another 2–3 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and coated in the sauce.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice if desired.
