- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Prepare onions: Slice the onions into 1/2-inch thick rings.
- Make the batter: In a bowl, whisk together flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk and egg.
- Coat the onions: Dip each onion ring into the egg mixture, then dredge in the flour mixture. Shake off any excess flour.
- Bake: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the coated onion rings on the baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Top with cheese: Remove from the oven and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
