These Tender Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Steak Bites are melt-in-your-mouth delicious, coated in a sticky-sweet garlic sauce with hints of soy and ginger. Set it and forget it for a comforting, protein-packed dish perfect over rice or veggies.

- 1 lb (450 g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.
- Place steak bites in the slow cooker. Pour the sauce over the meat and stir to coat evenly.
- Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours or high for 2–3 hours, until steak is tender.
- If a thicker sauce is desired, mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water. Stir into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve hot over rice, noodles, or steamed vegetables.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- Works well with flank steak or ribeye as alternatives to sirloin.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
