Ingredients

  1. 1 pound ground beef
  2. 1 onion, diced
  3. 315 oz cans chili beans
  4. 1 can tomato sauce
  5. 1 can Rotel diced tomatoes
  6. 1 cup water
  7. 23 tablespoons taco seasoning
  8. Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Brown the beef in a pan. Once browned, add diced onion and cook until fragrant.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of taco seasoning and stir to combine.
  • Transfer the seasoned beef mixture to the crockpot.
  • Add chili beans, tomato sauce, water, and diced tomatoes to the crockpot.
  • Sprinkle the remaining taco seasoning over the mixture and stir to combine.
  • Cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 6-8 hours.
  • Once cooked, taste and adjust with salt and pepper.
  • Serve with optional toppings such as extra cheese and sour cream.
