Description
These Sweet Strawberry Truffles are a decadent treat with a creamy center, made with freeze-dried strawberries and smooth white chocolate. Perfect for a special occasion, party, or just a sweet snack!
Ingredients
Scale
- For the Truffles:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup freeze-dried strawberries, finely crushed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Coating and Garnish:
- 2 cups white chocolate chips, melted
- Pink or red sprinkles (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Truffle Mixture:
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add the powdered sugar, crushed freeze-dried strawberries, and vanilla extract. Mix until fully combined and evenly pink. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes or until firm enough to handle. - Shape the Truffles:
Using a small cookie scoop or spoon, scoop out portions of the mixture and roll into 1-inch balls with your hands. Place the truffle balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for 15-20 minutes to set. - Coat the Truffles:
Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth. Using a fork or dipping tool, dip each chilled truffle ball into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Place the coated truffles back on the parchment-lined sheet. Add sprinkles immediately if desired. - Chill and Serve:
Refrigerate the truffles for 30 minutes or until the coating is firm. Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
- Make Ahead: You can store these truffles in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
- Variations: Try different coatings like dark or milk chocolate for variety.
- For extra flair, drizzle with melted chocolate before garnishing with sprinkles.
