Description

These homemade turtle candies with rich caramel, crunchy pecans, and smooth chocolate are the perfect treat for any occasion! Sweet, nutty, and indulgent, this simple recipe is a showstopper

Ingredients

Scale
  1. 12 oz caramels
  2. 6 oz pecans
  3. 8 oz chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly spray it with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  • Arrange the pecans in clusters on the prepared baking sheet.
  • In a small saucepan, melt the caramels over low heat, stirring frequently to prevent burning. Once melted, drop a spoonful of caramel onto each cluster of pecans.
  • In a separate bowl, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave, heating in 20-second intervals and stirring in between.
  • Spoon the melted chocolate over the caramel-covered pecans.
  • Refrigerate the candies for 30 minutes or until the chocolate has hardened.
  • Enjoy your homemade turtle candies!

Notes

  • You can store the candies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
  • For a festive touch, you can sprinkle sea salt on top of the caramel before adding the chocolate.
