- 1 lb ground beef or beef strips
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/3 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon BBQ sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 6 soft taco tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds to 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Stir in honey, BBQ sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, honey, BBQ sauce, and smoked paprika. Mix well and set aside.
- Warm tortillas in a skillet or microwave.
- Spoon the beef mixture into each tortilla.
- Drizzle with prepared sauce and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
- Top with cilantro if desired and serve immediately.
