Description

These Crockpot BBQ Meatballs are a sweet, smoky, and savory crowd-pleaser made effortlessly in the slow cooker — perfect as a party appetizer or served over rice for an easy dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2632 ounces frozen meatballs (or homemade meatballs)
  • 18 ounces BBQ sauce (use your favorite — spicy works great!)
  • ⅓ cup light brown sugar, packed
  • ¼ cup butter

Instructions

  1. Place meatballs in the bowl of your slow cooker.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine BBQ sauce, brown sugar, and butter. Heat over medium until the butter is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Pour the sauce over the meatballs and stir to coat evenly.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours or on high for 2–3 hours, until heated through.
  5. Stir before serving. Great as an appetizer or over rice for a meal!

Notes

  • Use homemade meatballs if you prefer — just pre-cook them before adding to the crockpot.
  • Adjust the sweetness or spice by choosing different BBQ sauces.
  • Add a dash of hot sauce or cayenne pepper for extra heat.
  • Serve on toothpicks for easy party bites or over mashed potatoes, rice, or in a hoagie roll.
