This Strawberry Crumble is a perfect dessert for any occasion! Juicy fresh strawberries mixed with a sweet, buttery crumble topping – it’s a treat you won’t want to miss. Serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the ultimate indulgence.

Ingredients

For the Filling:
• 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
• 1/3 cup granulated sugar
• 1 tbsp cornstarch
• 1 tbsp lemon juice
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

  1. For the Crumble Topping:
    • 1 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
    • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
    • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed

Instructions

  • Prepare the Filling:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease or line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Toss until the strawberries are evenly coated. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  • Make the Crumble Topping:
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well. Add the cold, cubed butter to the dry mixture. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter into the mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Assemble and Bake:
Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the strawberry filling. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
  • Cool and Serve:
Let the strawberry crumble cool for 10-15 minutes before serving. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for an extra treat!

Notes

  • For a twist, you can add a handful of chopped nuts (like almonds or walnuts) to the crumble topping for extra crunch!
  • Serve with whipped cream or ice cream for added indulgence.
