This Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake is the perfect combination of sweet strawberries, creamy cheesecake, and a buttery cake topping. With minimal effort, you can create a dessert that’s both delicious and crowd-pleasing.

Ingredients

Scale
  1. 1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling
  2. 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  3. 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  4. 1/2 cup sugar
  5. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  6. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  7. Fresh strawberries (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a medium bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry pie filling, gently spreading it.
  5. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top of the cream cheese and strawberry layers.
  6. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix, ensuring most of the surface is covered.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden and the filling is bubbling.
  8. Let the cake cool slightly, then serve warm, garnished with fresh strawberries if desired.

Notes

  • For an extra flavor boost, you can add a little cinnamon to the cake mix before sprinkling it on top.
  • If you want to make the dessert richer, top it with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream before serving.
