Description

This refreshing Strawberry and Tomato Salad is the perfect light dish for summer. The sweet strawberries and juicy cherry tomatoes are paired with a tangy balsamic glaze, fresh basil, and optional crumbled feta or mozzarella for added flavor


Ingredients

  3. 1/4 small red onion, thinly sliced
  4. 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
  5. 2 tbsp balsamic glaze (or balsamic vinegar)
  6. 2 tbsp olive oil
  7. 1/4 tsp salt
  8. 1/4 tsp black pepper
  9. 1/4 cup crumbled feta or fresh mozzarella (optional)
  10. 1 tbsp toasted pine nuts or almonds (optional)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine strawberries, cherry tomatoes, and red onion.
  • Drizzle with balsamic glaze and olive oil, then season with salt and black pepper.
  • Gently toss, then add fresh basil and cheese if using.
  • Sprinkle with toasted nuts for extra crunch.
