Ingredients

Scale
  1. 1 ripe banana, mashed
  2. ½ cup strawberries, finely chopped
  3. 1 ½ cups rolled oats
  4. 1 tablespoon peanut butter (make sure it’s xylitol-free!)
  5. 1 tablespoon unsweetened applesauce
  6. 1 teaspoon ground flaxseed (optional, for extra nutrients)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, mash the banana until smooth.
  • Add the finely chopped strawberries, peanut butter, and applesauce, stirring until well combined.
  • Mix in the oats and flaxseed (if using) until a thick, sticky dough forms.
  • Scoop out small portions of the dough and roll them into bite-sized balls.
  • Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until slightly firm.

  • Let them cool completely before serving to your pup!

Notes

  • These oat balls are easy to store! Keep them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze them for longer storage.
  • Always ensure the peanut butter used is xylitol-free, as xylitol is toxic to dogs.

  • If your dog has any dietary restrictions or sensitivities, consult your vet before serving new treats.
