Description

This Stir-fried Bok Choy with Ground Meat is a delicious and quick meal. Perfect for a healthy weeknight dinner, this recipe combines tender Bok Choy with savory ground pork (or beef) in a flavorful sauce.

  1. 1 lb ground pork or beef

  2. 1 tbsp vegetable oil

  3. 2 cloves garlic, minced

  4. 1-inch ginger, minced

  5. 1 tbsp soy sauce

  6. 1 tbsp oyster sauce

  7. 1 tbsp Shaoxing rice wine (optional)

  8. 1 tbsp brown sugar

  9. 1/2 tsp black pepper

  10. 1 head Bok Choy, chopped

  11. 2 tbsp sesame oil (optional


Instructions

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground meat and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula.

  • Add the minced garlic and ginger and cook for another minute until fragrant.

  • Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice wine (if using), brown sugar, and black pepper. Cook for 1 minute, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

  • Add the chopped Bok Choy and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until wilted but still crisp-tender.

 

  • Drizzle with sesame oil (if using) before serving. Serve hot.


Notes

  • You can use either ground pork or beef, depending on your preference.

  • Sesame oil adds a nice aroma and flavor, but it’s optional.

 

  • If you prefer a more savory flavor, you can adjust the amount of soy sauce or oyster sauce.
