Description

  8. 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  9. 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  10. 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  11. 2 cloves garlic, minced
  12. 1/2 small onion, thinly sliced
  13. 1/2 jalapeño, sliced

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice, sugar, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, mustard seeds, oregano, and minced garlic.
  • Layer the shrimp, onion, jalapeño, and garlic in a mason jar.
  • Pour the pickling mixture over the shrimp, making sure everything is submerged in the liquid.
  • Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, though overnight is best for deeper flavor.
