Ingredients
Scale
- 250g spaghetti
- 1 red pepper, diced
- 150g chorizo, cut into cubes
- 200g peeled shrimp
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 20cl thick sour cream
- Olive oil
- Salt, pepper
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to the instructions on the package. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, sauté the chopped onion and crushed garlic in olive oil over medium heat until softened.
- Add the diced red pepper and chorizo cubes. Cook for about 5 minutes, allowing the chorizo to release its flavor.
- Add the peeled shrimp and cook for another 2 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
- Lower the heat and stir in the sour cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Combine the drained spaghetti with the sauce mixture and toss until evenly coated.
- Serve hot, optionally garnished with fresh herbs or grated cheese.
Notes
- For added spice, consider using a spicier chorizo or adding chili flakes to the sauce.
- Feel free to use a low-fat sour cream or substitute with heavy cream for a richer flavor.
- If you prefer, you can add other vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor and texture.
