Description

This creamy and comforting Sour Cream Beef Noodle Casserole is a perfect family dinner, packed with flavorful ground beef, egg noodles, and a cheesy topping. It’s easy to make and will be a hit with both kids and adults!

Ingredients

Scale
  1. 1 pound ground beef
  2. 1 onion, chopped
  3. 2 cloves garlic, minced
  4. 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  5. 1 cup sour cream
  6. 1 cup beef broth
  7. 3 cups egg noodles, cooked and drained
  8. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  9. 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  10. Salt and pepper to taste
  11. 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  12. 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until the beef is fully cooked and the onion is translucent. Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix well until combined.
  • Add the cooked egg noodles to the skillet and stir until the noodles are evenly coated with the beef mixture.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • This recipe can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator. Just bake it when you’re ready to serve!
  • Feel free to swap the cheddar cheese for mozzarella or any cheese of your choice.
  • For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes.
