Description

This hearty Smoked Sausage Crock Pot Scalloped Potatoes recipe combines layers of sliced potatoes, smoky sausage, creamy cheese, and savory celery soup for an easy, comforting slow-cooker meal perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 28 oz smoked sausage, sliced (214 oz packages)
  • 1/2 white onion, sliced
  • 4 medium russet potatoes, peeled and sliced thinly
  • 10 slices American cheese
  • 10.5 oz can cream of celery soup
  • 1/4 cup water (to thin the soup)

Instructions

  1. Layer the bottom of the Crock Pot with a portion of the sliced potatoes.
  2. Top with a layer of smoked sausage slices, followed by a layer of sliced onions.
  3. Place a few slices of American cheese on top, then repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cheese on top.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the cream of celery soup with 1/4 cup water to thin it out slightly.
  5. Pour the soup mixture evenly over the layers in the Crock Pot.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is melted.
