This Slow Cooker Mississippi Ribeye Steak recipe is a true comfort food classic! Tender ribeye steaks are infused with savory ranch and au jus seasoning, then slow-cooked with pepperoncini peppers for a flavorful kick. Perfect for an easy weeknight dinner!

Ingredients

Scale
  1. 2 ribeye steaks
  2. 1 packet of ranch dressing seasoning mix
  3. 1 packet of au jus seasoning mix
  4. 1/2 cup of unsalted beef broth
  5. 1/2 cup of pepperoncini peppers (including some juice)
  6. 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  7. Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Sear the Steaks: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the ribeye steaks for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Prepare the Slow Cooker: While steaks are searing, add the unsalted beef broth to the slow cooker.
  • Transfer Steaks: Once seared, transfer the steaks to the slow cooker.
  • Season the Steaks: Sprinkle the ranch dressing and au jus seasoning mix over the steaks evenly.
  • Add Pepperoncini: Add the pepperoncini peppers along with some of their juice to the slow cooker for added flavor.
  • Cook: Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  • Serve: Once the cooking time is up, carefully uncover and serve the steaks hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add more pepperoncini juice or a bit of the pepperoncini peppers themselves.
  • This dish pairs well with mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables!
