This creamy and comforting Slow Cooker Chicken & Dumplings is a one-pot meal that’s as easy as it is delicious! Tender chicken, savory soup, and soft dumplings come together perfectly for a cozy dinner

  1. 2 tablespoons butter
  2. 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  3. 1 onion, finely diced
  4. 2 cans of cream of chicken soup
  5. 2 small packages Grands Jr biscuits (10 biscuits)
  6. Flour (for coating biscuits)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken: Place the chicken, butter, soup, and diced onion into a greased slow cooker. Add enough water to cover the ingredients.
  • Cook: Secure the lid and cook on High for 5-6 hours.
  • Add the Dumplings: About 30 minutes before serving, tear each biscuit into pieces and roll them in flour to prevent sticking. Drop the biscuit pieces into the slow cooker.
  • Finish Cooking: Replace the lid and cook for an additional 30 minutes, or until the dumplings are fully cooked.
