A comforting and flavorful dish with tender beef tips in a rich gravy, served over egg noodles. This Crockpot recipe is a perfect weeknight meal that’s easy to prepare and packed with savory goodness.

Ingredients

  1. Beef Tips: Use stew meat or cut beef chuck into cubes
  2. Onion Soup Mix: Adds flavor and depth to the gravy
  3. Cream of Mushroom Soup: Creates a creamy gravy base
  4. Beef Broth: Enhances the meaty flavor of the dish
  5. Worcestershire Sauce: Adds a tangy depth
  6. Garlic: Minced, for additional flavor
  7. Butter: For richness
  8. Noodles: Egg noodles, cooked separately

Instructions

  • Prepare the Beef: Place the beef tips in the Crockpot. Sprinkle with minced garlic and add dollops of butter on top.
  • Mix the Sauces: In a bowl, mix the onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour this mixture over the beef in the Crockpot, ensuring the beef is well-coated.
  • Cook: Cover and cook on low for about 7-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours, until the beef is tender and the gravy has thickened.
  • Prepare the Noodles: When the beef is nearly done, cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions.

  • Serve: Serve the beef and gravy over the cooked noodles, ensuring each plate gets a generous scoop of gravy.

Notes

  • You can adjust the seasoning based on your preferences, adding more Worcestershire sauce or garlic.
  • For a richer flavor, consider adding a little extra butter or a splash of heavy cream to the gravy.

  • Make sure to cook the noodles separately to prevent them from becoming soggy in the Crockpot.
