Ingredients

Scale
  1. For the Ravioli:
    • 1 lb shrimp and lobster ravioli (store-bought or homemade)

For the Creamy Garlic Butter Sauce:

    • 2 tablespoons butter
    • 3 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 cup heavy cream
    • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
    • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a spicy kick)
    • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
    • Salt and black pepper, to taste

    For Garnish:

    • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
    • Extra Parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Ravioli

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the ravioli and cook according to package instructions, usually 3–5 minutes.
  3. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining the ravioli. Set aside.

Step 2: Make the Sauce

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Stir in the heavy cream, and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until fully melted and smooth.
  5. Add the red pepper flakes (if using), and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of the reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.

Step 3: Combine Ravioli and Sauce

  1. Gently add the cooked ravioli to the skillet with the sauce.
  2. Toss to coat the ravioli evenly in the creamy garlic butter sauce.

Step 4: Serve

  1. Plate the ravioli, spooning any remaining sauce over the top.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley and a sprinkle of extra Parmesan cheese.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, increase the amount of red pepper flakes.
  • You can use store-bought ravioli or make homemade shrimp and lobster ravioli for a more personalized touch.
