Description

This Sheet Pan Taco Pizza is the perfect fusion of pizza and tacos! A crispy pizza crust is topped with seasoned ground beef, refried beans, salsa, and gooey melted cheese, then loaded with fresh toppings.

Ingredients

Scale
  1. For the pizza:

    • 1 lb pizza dough
    • 1 cup store-bought salsa
    • 1 cup refried beans
    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 1/4 cup chicken stock
    • 1 tablespoon chili powder
    • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
    • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
    • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

    For toppings:

    1. 2 cups shredded lettuce
    2. 2 cups diced tomato
    3. 1/2 cup white onion, diced
    4. 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
    5. 1/2 cup mild pickled jalapeños
    6. Sour cream, for serving

Instructions

  • Prepare Dough:
Preheat the oven to 450°F and lightly grease a half-sheet pan with olive oil.
Roll out the pizza dough to fit the sheet pan, then let it rest for 20 minutes to prevent shrinkage.

  • Cook Beef:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in chicken stock, chili powder, and cumin. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat.

  • Assemble Pizza:
Spread refried beans evenly over the pizza dough.
Layer salsa on top, then add the seasoned beef mixture.
Sprinkle Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese evenly over the pizza.

  • Bake:
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.

  • Add Toppings & Serve:
Garnish with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, white onion, cilantro, and pickled jalapeños.
Serve with sour cream on the side for dipping. Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can customize the toppings to suit your preference, such as adding guacamole, sliced olives, or avocado.

  • Use homemade refried beans for a fresher taste if desired.
