Description

This Shamrock Shake Pie is the perfect festive dessert for St. Patrick’s Day! With its minty, creamy filling in a graham cracker crust, it’s the ideal treat to enjoy during the holiday. Whipped cream, peppermint extract, and a pop of green food coloring make it a fun and refreshing way to celebrate!

Ingredients

Scale
  1. 1 pre-made graham cracker crust
  2. 1 cup heavy cream
  3. 1 cup powdered sugar
  4. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  5. 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  6. 1/2 cup green food coloring (optional)
  7. 1 cup whipped topping (for garnish)
  8. Chocolate shavings or mint leaves (for decoration)

Instructions

  • Whip the Cream:
In a large bowl, beat the heavy cream until soft peaks form.

  • Add Sugar and Extracts:
Gradually mix in the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract. Beat until well combined.

  • Color it Green:
If desired, add a few drops of green food coloring and gently fold until evenly colored.

  • Fill the Crust:
Spoon the minty cream mixture into the pre-made graham cracker crust. Smooth the top with a spatula.

  • Chill:
Cover the pie and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.

  • Garnish:
Before serving, top with whipped topping and decorate with chocolate shavings or mint leaves.

  • Slice and Serve:
Cut into wedges and enjoy this refreshing treat!

Notes

  • Green Food Coloring: You can adjust the amount of green food coloring to your liking, or skip it for a more subtle presentation.
  • Graham Cracker Crust: If you prefer a homemade crust, simply crush graham crackers, mix with melted butter, and press into the pan.

  • Optional Toppings: For extra texture, try adding mini chocolate chips or crushed mint candies as toppings.
