- 1 (1-lb) roll breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 2 (8-oz) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375ºF (190ºC).
- In a mixing bowl, combine cooked sausage and softened cream cheese until fully mixed.
- Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Cut each triangle in half lengthwise to create two smaller triangles.
- Using a small cookie scoop or spoon, place a small amount of the sausage mixture onto each triangle. Roll up from the wider end to the point.
- Place on a parchment-lined cookie sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
- Use spicy sausage for an extra kick.
- These can be made ahead and reheated in the oven at 300ºF for 5–7 minutes.
- Add shredded cheese or chopped herbs to the filling for variation.
