This indulgent trifle is a delicious layering of rich brownie cubes, silky fudge sauce, fresh raspberries, and fluffy whipped cream. A perfect dessert for any occasion

Ingredients

Scale
  1. For the Brownie Layer:

    • 1 box brownie mix (or homemade)
    • Ingredients needed for the brownie mix (eggs, oil, water)

    For the Fudge Sauce:

    • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
    • 1/4 cup heavy cream
    • 1 tbsp honey

    For the Raspberry Layer:

    • 1 cup fresh raspberries
    • 1/4 cup sugar

    For the Whipped Cream:

    1. 1 cup heavy whipping cream
    2. 2 tbsp powdered sugar
    3. 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Prepare the brownies according to package instructions. Once baked, allow them to cool and cut them into cubes.
  • In a saucepan, melt dark chocolate chips, heavy cream, and honey over low heat until smooth, creating the fudge sauce.
  • In a small bowl, toss fresh raspberries with sugar and set aside to macerate for about 15 minutes.
  • For the whipped cream, beat heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  • To assemble, layer brownie cubes, fudge sauce, whipped cream, and macerated raspberries in a trifle dish. Repeat layers as needed, finishing with whipped cream and raspberries on top.

  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.

Notes

  • You can use homemade brownies if you prefer for a richer flavor.
  • Adjust the amount of sugar for the raspberries depending on how sweet they are.

  • For an extra touch, sprinkle some chocolate shavings on top before serving.
