- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp yeast
- 3¾ cups all-purpose flour
- ⅓ cup melted butter
- ½ cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1½ tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Add warm water, yeast, sugar, and salt to a large mixing bowl. Let it rest for 5–10 minutes or until bubbly.
- Using the dough hook attachment, slowly add the flour. Mix until the dough forms a loose ball.
- Cover the bowl with a dish towel and let the dough proof for 30–45 minutes or until doubled in size.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter and pour half onto the sheet pan’s bottom.
- Place the dough in the center of the pan. Press outward toward the edges until the dough covers the pan entirely.
- Pour the remaining butter over the dough, then sprinkle with Parmesan, garlic salt, and Italian seasoning.
- Let the dough rise for 15–20 minutes (about 1 inch).
- Use a pizza cutter to slice the dough into breadsticks.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes or until golden around the edges.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving.
