Instructions
Cook the Beef
- Place the beef chuck roast in a slow cooker or Dutch oven. Add sliced onions and minced garlic on top.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together beef broth, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the beef.
