This creamy Philly Cheesesteak Pasta combines savory ground beef (or steak strips), sautéed peppers, onions, and a melty cheese sauce to bring the famous Philly cheesesteak sandwich to your pasta bowl! Perfect for an easy weeknight dinner or a delicious comfort meal.

  1. 1 lb ground beef or steak strips
  2. 1 green bell pepper, diced
  3. 1 onion, diced
  4. 2 cloves garlic, minced
  5. 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  6. 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  7. 12 oz pasta (penne or rigatoni recommended)
  8. 1 cup beef broth
  9. Salt and pepper to taste
  10. 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Cook Pasta: Boil pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Sauté Vegetables: In a large skillet, heat olive oil. Add diced bell pepper, onion, and garlic. Sauté until softened.
  • Cook Meat: Add ground beef or steak strips to the skillet. Cook until browned and fully cooked.
  • Combine Ingredients: Stir in cream cheese and beef broth until creamy. Add cooked pasta and mix well.
  • Top with Cheese: Sprinkle provolone cheese on top. Broil until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve hot.
