Description
This Philly Cheesesteak Garlic Bread is a savory, cheesy delight! Perfect for an easy weeknight dinner or appetizer, it combines tender steak, sautéed peppers and onions, and melted provolone and mozzarella cheeses on crispy, garlic-buttered baguette.

- 1 large French baguette
- 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the baguette in half lengthwise and place on a baking sheet.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Remove steak and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté onions and bell peppers until softened.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce and return the steak to the skillet. Mix well.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter and minced garlic. Brush onto the cut sides of the bread.
- Spread the steak mixture evenly over the bread.
- Sprinkle provolone and mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Slice and serve warm.
Notes
- You can substitute the ribeye steak with flank steak or sirloin if preferred.
- Feel free to add sautéed mushrooms for extra flavor.
- For extra crispy garlic bread, broil for 1-2 minutes after baking.
